Where are you located?
Celestion G12 what? G12t75,G12h30,G12m25...... G12 is extremely vauge

If your in the USA look for a used Mesa Recto 4x12 they run $400-500 all the time. Krank rev 4x12's are $400ish, Avatar 4x12's are cheap used (just watch for the type of speaker in them)

Egnater armageddon cab for 300 sounds like a good deal. I heard they were good cabs. I used to use a carvin legacy v30 cab with my bugera 333 and it sounded really good.

I got a JCA212+ for about 200 ish, free shipping off sweetwater about a year ago. it never failed me. And the DI is not bad in my opinion. Really like how it sits in the mix. a 2x12 is smaller and more portable if you need that. I am actually looking into experimenting with new speakers, but I am incredibly happy with the cab as is.

Generally, 4x12 cabs are pretty much of a much. They're usually about 30x30x14 (depth varies) with a center post to prevent the back from resonating at an annoying frequency.

Your primary concerns are the speakers inside and the material it's made of. Most are built of the same birch plywood, but a few of the cheaper ones are built of MDF. The latter are actually fine if you're going to keep them at home, but they're not recommended for gigging, since they have issues with impact and moisture.

The speakers will make the most difference in sound. My personal preference is for V30s or GT12s, but YMMV.

Do Not Shop By Brand. You'll likely spend more than you need to.

Also look at something with G12K100s in it, the Marshall mode four cabs come to mind. My favorite combo is x patterned V30s and g12k100s
Gibson SG Standard
Gibson Les Paul Traditional
Cort Explorer
Squire Standard Strat rebuilt with Fender USA parts
Squire Tele
Krank 1980
Orange Tiny Terror
Traynor YCV 50 Blue
Peavey Vypyr 75

I have a Cab builded by Zilla, custom made. They supplied it with a V30 and a G12K100 speaker. This combination sounds amazing. It costed me around 580 euros.

Kind regards,

^ yeah zilla gets a good rep (though I haven't tried them). might be overkill with a bugera, though (though obviously the same cab could be used if he upgrades the head down the line).
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
