Are there any 'non-standard', or odd arpeggio sweeps that I could practice other than Augmented or Diminished?
Suspended arpeggios can sound cool
Get into sevenths and their alterations. Dominant 7 flat 5 and sharp 5, minor 7 flat 5 etc.
This video is really cool. It's kind of a different approach to sweep picking arpeggios that makes it easier to add extentions. This particular video shows a C major #11 chord, but you can apply the principles outlined here to any chord.
Thanks for the help everyone!
13ths (1, 3, 5, b7, 9, 13), maj7ths (1, 3, 5, b7), 9ths (1, 3, 5, b7, 9), dim7ths (1, b3, b5, bb7) are all kind of interesting.
