This is a song/prayer I wrote while my aunt was on her death bed. The doctors said she wouldn't make it, but God says faith can move mountains!! The doctors realistic, worldly doubts and professional knowledge left me doubting my faith. Through this prayer, God showed me his perceptive through my children, in turn reinforced my faith! Against the odds, by faith, my aunt is a walking miracle!

I put my children to bed, at the end of each day
Before closing their eyes, Now I Lay Me we pray
But today we found out, we have a loved one in need
Of God's healing touch, a miracle we seek

I told them to ask God, for his mercy and grace
Though you may cannot see him, he hears what you say
I see the light in their eyes, of amaze and belief
And with no doubt in their hearts, pray a sweet song of relief

The Faith of a Child, how I long to believe
The light in their eyes, is how I want to see
Their faith has no doubt, so God I cry out
The faith of a child, please give me

Sometimes my Dear Lord, my heart is so grieved
This mountain won't move, impossible it seems
Inside I've built walls, through trials to protect me
Seems now I just can't rid, this worldly uncertainty

The faith of a child, how I long to believe
The light in heir eyes, is how I want to see
Their faith has no doubt, So God I cry out
The faith of a child please give me

It's all in your hands, the impossible dream
Your my Savior my friend, on your love I will lean
Your love has no bounds, love faithful and true
With nowhere to turn, all hope is in you

This doubt in my heart, is what sets me apart
So Lord the faith of a child please give me

The faith of a child, how I long to believe
The light in their eyes, is how I want to see
Their faith has no doubt, so God I cry out
The faith of a child, please give me
