This whole cue really but the section starting at :52 is the most metal thing John Williams has ever done! I'd recommend listening to it in context though.

It isn't. Enough pretentiousness to last a lifetime.

Sweeter and only found at carnivals unless you have a special machine, contribution accepted. Still more interesting than Beethoven. How?

Kevin Drumm - We All Get It In The End

Too good for a video on the internet. Heavier than this thread.

Apparently I'm just too heavy for the internet because Our Love Will Destroy The World - Chinese Emperors And The Army Of Eternity is not to be found online either.

And neither is Skullflower - White Fang #2

I've always considered this song really heavy. First off, the acoustic into is ****ing sweet. Then the way the song builds off the acoustic guitar, the mournful sound of the flute- all amazing. Listen to the whole thing, but when 2:50 hits, you should know why this song is really heavy.

Have you heard Ben Frost's newest? (Aurora)

It's really nice.

Ben Frost is one of my many headphone crushes. On any given second of an album by him I am sporting either a furrowed brow of intense inner focus or more often the wide-eyed drop to your knees broken look from the intricately constructed wall of sound.

So yeah, I'm still familiarizing myself intimately with Aurora. By The Throat is up there with Jacaszek - Treny, Le Lendemains - Fire, and Eduard Artemeiv - The Mirror as far as my personal favorites of the "electro-acoustic" sound goes.

And more for this thread...

Lost In Hildurness - Mount A
A Challenge of Honour - Wilhelm Gustolf

Not an album, but Sopor Aeternus - Helvetia Sexualis always sounded "full" enough to give stupid Metal fans that Heavy feeling they are always going on about.

The spoken piece of the Hávamál by Sveinbjörn Beinteinsson gives me seriously heavy chills. That metre man...
