Since UG is a global community, I figured I'd ask you guys, what are your favorite sweets and candies that you can't get in the USA and where they are from. I'm just interested in trying new things.

also, no, I didn't use the search bar, and if I did and resurrected an old thread, people would just bitch about it any way.

'Kendal Mint Cake.'
It's a glucose-based confection flavoured with peppermint that originates from Kendal in Cumbria, England, and can be either covered with chocolate or uncovered.
Sir Edmund Hillary and his team carried Kendal Mint Cake with them on the first successful ascent of Mount Everest in 1953. A member of the expedition wrote – 'It was easily the most popular item on our high altitude ration – our only criticism was that we did not have enough of it.'”

Also, 'Uncle Joes Mint Balls'.
Traditional mints produced by Wm Santus & Co. Ltd. in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England.

Y'know, even if you could... it wouldn't be compulsory for you to buy and eat them.

The majority of those candies and stroopwafels can definitely be had in the states. You just gotta know where to go.

Holy shit theres no Kinder Surprise in the U.S.? I feel bad for your poor souls

As far as I know there are no Mars bars in the U.S., but Snickers are better anyway. Also no Ketchup and All Dresses chips, I feel for you all.

Yeah I believe a couple of years ago there was a documentary about dutch stuff being sold there.

Also, 90% English people won't like any of our dutch candy.
