If I have a heart attack while under anasthesia, what are the chances of recovering?

Usually no, but i am worried. My doctors appointment is set for after my wisdom teeth surgery. so, that really does me no good at all. I'm not sure whether the chest pain is only because of panic disorder, or if its actually ****ed.

Ok, so any anaesthesia is a risky process (take Michael Jackson, propofol killed him which is a fairly usual general anaesthetic), but this is precisely why they have anaesthetists. Part of their training is to keep an eye on vital processes to make sure you don't die as a result of the anaesthetic. If you have any doubts, then report it. Better to err on the side of caution than to risk it. If they think your heart isn't up to one type of anaesthetic, they can recommend a different that will strain the heart less.

...Tell you doctor about this concern to determine whether or not there could be complications, and if this heart problem has been undiagnosed, make an appointment with a cardiologist?

Tell the dentist your concerns.

I mean really. Are you that dense?

He's asking guitar players for medical advice.

Of course he's not dense.
