sounds like she plugged into a small guitar combo amp and turned the gain way up

i know this because i've gotten this exact tone from a BC rich starter amp

Are female bass players really considered rare? Sure, if you only listen to music from the 60's and 70s...but I thought tons of bands had female bass players now
