Too subjective. What sound are you going for? Budget? New or used? Personally I'm not a fan of either.
Gibson LP traditional and DC standard, SG standard, MIA Standard Strat, Schecter Banshee 7
EVH 5153, Orange TV50H 2-2x12's
Line 6 M13

Don't like either! But I'm not sure why you'd want a high gain amp with low wattage. Most high gain amps have high wattage because they benefit from high headroom. Combining lots of preamp gain with a lot of power tube saturation just makes the amp loose sloppy and farty ( I'm sure there's a yo moma joke there somewhere ) either way it's not a great combo.

Look at a used Krank Jr series or a Diamond Assassin

Both are fairly cheap used and have plenty of headroom for playing hi-gain
2002 PRS CE22
2013 G&L ASAT Deluxe
2009 Epiphone G-400 (SH-4)
Marshall JCM2000 DSL100
Krank 1980 Jr 20watt
Krank Rev 4x12 (eminence V12)
GFS Greenie/Digitech Bad Monkey
Morley Bad Horsie 2
MXR Smart Gate

If your budget is high, the MinI Rectifier is supposed to be solid. it's no Dual or Triple but still.
