Its near impossible to determine an instrument from a picture, especially when there are many instruments that look the same.

It looks like a Fender P bass, 5 string. What model i cant say though.

5 string jazz bass of some description. as Sickz says it's virtually impossible to say the model, though. I'm not even sure that's a fender logo on the headstock, it could well be a copy (whether cheap or high-end, )

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

It's, uh, a 5 string bass that resembles a Fender Jazz bass. Um...yeah, that picture doesn't allow us to get more specific.
#5
It's a copy unless someone has changed the tuners on it, as the tuners look like the ones on an ibanez, rather than the ones on a fender.
#6
Well, it for sure doesn't look like a Fender. If I see right, all the tuners are on one side. The string tree could always be aftermarket, but at least haven't seen that one stock on Fenders. Second, can't remember when Fender has had those heads on the tuners, then those could be aftermarket too. All that said, it looks like the logo starts with "S", but that could lead to far too many possibilities, it's too hard.
However, as others have said, it's really hard to tell with this kind of picture.

The logo does look like an "S", but that's almost how the Fender F is shaped. Most likely what previous replies say: Fender imitation / custom, could be a legit Fender 5 string Precision bass with customized heads and other minor add-ons, but either way it's not that far from a Fender P bass with 5 strings. The pickguard looks a bit different from mine but yeah, most likely a 5 string Pbass.

Jazz bass with 5 strings. And Fender also has 5 string basses with all the tuners on the same side.

It actually looks really similar to this one - a Standard Jazz Bass V (MIM):

I think t could be this one?

I saw a video of the bass pictured originally (which i am thinking is actually this one just in blue) and all the tuning pegs are on the same side, like this one, and the "s" would be explained as it is squier, just cant seem to find that colour anywhere

Probably that. Also, sorry for an earlier mistake, Jazz bass, not a Precision bass. If the color doesn't match, probably because it's a custom paint job or the lighting is different.

Yeah, that's it.

Look at the color choices on the Fender website. "Metallic blue" is one of them. Yes, there's no picture but you could just Google it. ("Metallic blue Squier Jazz V")
