142,857 has a strange property:

1 x 142,857 = 142,857
2 x 142,857 = 285,714
3 x 142,857 = 428,571
4 x 142,857 = 571,428
5 x 142,857 = 714,285
6 x 142,857 = 857,142

each result is some arrangement of 142857. to make this easier to see, look at this:

1 x 142,857 = _____142857
2 x 142,857 = _285714____
3 x 142,857 = 428571_____
4 x 142,857 = ___571428__
5 x 142,857 = ____714285_
6 x 142,857 = __857142___

it's cyclic. my questions are, why 142,857? why did i stop at 6? are there any other like this (dont say 0)?

I was really bored during my math final so i added 1+20+300+4000+50000+600000+7000000+800000000+900000000

This is pure coincidence.
It's not that apeeling.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a video on this but I don't remember anything. I've multiplied that number by 7 and it's 999999, which is interesting.

If you multiply any amount of 1s (up to 9 o them) with an equal amount, your calculator counts up to the amount of ones you have and then back down. Cool, cool cool cool.

1/7 = .142857
2/7 = .285714
3/7 = .428571
4/7 = .571428
5/7 = .714285
6/7 = .857142
7/7 = 1

thats why you stopped at 6

also it's interesting cause the absolutely correct value for 1/7 would be

.142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857142857
