I used to play guitar and want to start again (Sold old one cause I needed money)

I found a second hand epiphone SG-400 with 81/85 Is it worth to check this guitar out due to the EMG's?

Sure, but it depends on what you want out of a guitar and the price they want for it.
I wouldn't pay more than $200 for a used G-400, unless you really want EMG's then maybe $250

Yeah that is why I am hesitant. It is a SG-400 with EMG 81/85 + hard case for 275 euro which is around 370 dollars. Not sure if it is worth the price

Maybe one of the guys from EU can chime in and give you a better perspective

What version of the G-400 is it? they do make several different priced ones. You can get the G-400 vintage (that is what I have and it was $299 new) for €211 at Thomann

From what I'm seeing for new prices, your not getting a bad deal, but depending on how nice everything is. The EMG's are pretty pricey and then a hard case, go try it and see what you think
