Hi

I've been sitting for hours today (literally) trying to decide myself wich I like most (if there's one).

I'd be using this OD as a boost. Probably ON all the time. I kinda like my tone straight out of the amp, but the "eq-ing" and amplitude feels more tight and surrounding and round when I boost it with either the bluesbreaker MKI clone that I own, or a Tsx9 (or wathever it is called) turbo tubescreamer.

Maybe I could get an EQ with a gain knob (MXR 10 band?) to acheive the same job too.

Anyway, I'll keep on playing with these pups tomorrow, but I wanted to know what you guys think about it.

Thanks all!

I dont understand. If you own both, whats the dilemma? I have several different drive pedals I bust out on occasion, dilemma free.

Oh sorry, I don't own the Turbo screamer, I borrowed it to my friend. He might sell it to me If I ask him, or even trade for the bluesbreaker.

I've got 5 dirt pedals, 3 are overdrives.
Plus 2 EQ pedals.

Get the Tubescreamer AND the MXR 10 band.

Just get your own TS pedal, it is nice to have both types. I have a GFS Greenie and a bad Monkey that I use as boosts, they each give their own flavor and sometimes I use both at the same time.

i have 5 OD's and one distortion pedal (HM2). i stack them quite often i usually would use a timmy as a boost and a zendrive for a solo boost, it sweetens the leads up a lot.

I like having a ts-style pedal alongside a more transparent od pedal.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
