Right guys I am on the hunt for a new bridge pickup for my schecter C-1 Elite.
Mahogany body and neck, fixed bridge.

I play metal ( who doesnt right) in the style of Lamb Of God and syslosis.

I use a peavey 6505 boosted with a Maxon Od808

I need a pickup that has the following qualities

* tight bass response that sounds huge on open chords
* Has brilliant string seperation for complex chords
* quite abit aof output
*has to be passive as im done with actives
* doesnt have a very harsh top end so can do leads well.

Money isnt an issue as only getting one for now so can afford £250 on one pickup if need be just want the best I can get

Since one of the guys in Sylosis is currently rockin' a Reverend Sensei RA, I'll suggest the pickup that is in it- the RailHammer Chisel- and it's even hotter cousin, the RailHammer Anvil.

Also consider Bareknuckles, or even custom wounds from The Creamery, etc.

£250 on one pick-up - you have more money than sense.

Have you looked at this range?

I wasnt suggesting Id spend all that on one pickup just saying I have enough to go custom made if need be.

Well, can't help you there- I'm planning on getting some as part of several planned swaps. But as I write this, I'm sitting in a house in Texas (with the AC off) that is having 40% of its ground floor ripped out because of an unplanned plumbing issue.

So buying pickups is...secondary.

SD Custom Shop Slug.

48K DC resistance.

Because fvck cleans.

As a serious suggestion, I really like my Lace Dissonant Aggressors. Very tight and punchy with great string resonance. It's like each string has it's own pup. But you might wanna go with the Hammerclaws or the regular old Nitro Hemis if you want a little more treble for solos.

When you're ready to buy a pickup again: Seymour Duncan Full Shred. Never look back. It's the best pickup I've ever used, for the same exact criteria you're looking for. You can actually hear every note in the chord.

Also, high output is counter-intuitive to clarity. You have a ****ing 6505. There is no point in trying to have your pickups doing the heavy lifting.

Id deffo keep it, if its anything like my 400NT then its not gonna go anywhere.

But as for pickups, dont go too high output cause your amp will make anything kick you in the balls. I put a low output humbucker guitar through my 5150 (when i had it) and it was awesome.
