Looking for some advice: I am predominately an acoustic guitar player although I enjoy playing electric. It has just now gotten to the point where I am going to incorporate an electric into my live set. I have an Epiphone Les Paul mock up that has a couple issues with it, and in terms of my play-style and genre I don't feel as if its the right guitar for me. Can anyone recommend some models suited towards playing a folk/rock sound? I'm looking to sell my current electric and spend only at most a couple hundred more. I've been looking into telecasters mostly but I'm open to all suggestions. I could compare my sound to artists like Ryan Adams, Conor oberst, and the old 97's. I second the telecaster opinion, very versatile guitar, the classic vibe series is one of, if not the best, values out there. With folk/rock you have a bunch of options; Epiphone (Casino, Dot, 335,WildKat, 339), Fender Strat, Jaguar, (pretty much every Fender/Squier electric model actually)
