Im looking at this guitar.im also looking at a epiphone les paul with gibson 57 pickups, does anyone know how the schecter would compare?

You already have an Epiphone LP tribute in your sig. It makes no sense to get another Epiphone with Gibson pickups.

You can also just put some Gibson puppies in your Epiphone, which is what T00DEEPBLUE may have been implying.

They're two very, very different guitars with the two primary differences being that the Blackjack SLS series have a thin Ibanez-ish kind of neck, and the pickups are Seymour Duncan Blackouts = active. It's going to sound and feel more modern and aggressive, basically up to you whether you'd like that.

Personally I'd take the Blackjack without a microsecond of hesitation... (But then I'm biased since I dislike Les Pauls.)
