I have a Schecter Omen 6 with stock pickups. I play mostly Deathcore and wanted to make my tone more brutal, so pickups seemed a good first step. Through research I've decided I want DiMarzio D Activator X pickup in the bridge position but what do I put in the neck postion??

I'm not sure if I need more output (I'll get plenty from the Activator X) or should I go for a warmer fatter sound in the neck position? Any recommendations are appreciated

what will you be using the neck pickup for? if you're only going to use it for cleans there's no need to get something hot, for example.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

You should be like Ace Frehley and turn your neck pickup into a smoke machine. If you don't like that idea, then one of my recommendations is the Dimarzio Air Norton.
