Hi I'm looking for a new amp, and here are my options:

Orange Rockerverb
AXE FX II + Matrix power amp

basically those two. I'm looking for what's versatile and has a lot of gain structures, feels good and really fits everything from Allan Holdsworth clean to his fusion crunch to Meshuggah gain and super heavy metal gain structure. Thankssssssss

The Axe FX is the clear choice if you want versatility.

it obviously would, but the axe will definitely be able to cover just about any sound you want. oranges are good but theyre not known for covering a really wide range of sounds

I would throw Mesa Roadster in there. Very versatile and four channels. Love having so many sounds available, its ridiculous how many sounds they crank out

I don't like Mesa for Meshuggah and stuff I don't think it's quite the gain structure I'm looking for

Well all of Meshuggah use the Axe FX, and it can for sure pull of fusion, I'm not sure what more there is to discuss here... If you're worried about it sounding too digital, take the testimonies of the dozens & dozens of people who say the models sound & feel just like the real thing.
