I've been saving up for a while and decided to finally get a new amp.
My favorite bands/artists include but are not limited to:
Steely Dan
John Coltrane
Jeff Beck
James Brown
Joe Walsh
Robben Ford
Joe Pass
Mike Stern
Sonny Landreth
etc.
Basically I'm into blues, jazz, and some classic rock.
The guitar I play is an Epiphone Sorrento reissue.
I'm looking to spend under $1,000, but as little as possible.
I'd like to buy used (my craigslist) -> http://sandiego.craigslist.org/
I was looking at buying a used Vox AC30 with Wharfedale speakers and switching out the speakers for Alnico Blues somewhere down the road.
I mostly do small club gigs with a band that, quote, "sounds like Steely Dan with a dash of Sly & and Family Stone".
So... and recommendations?

EDIT: I most likely won't be able to get any more money as I've been fired from my last job.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

That's alright, it sucked anyway

I've never heard of Ceriatone. Are they hard to find used?
