Since AxeFx is a bit too pricey for me,what are some of the more cheaper alternatives?I would mostly used it for home recording, and maybe live and maybe with my engl screamer... I had a friends line 6 hd500 ,and its ok but i'm wondering is there something better on the market?I'm playing mostly metalcore and modern metal tones..

The AXE FX and the Kemper PA.

Then you have the software solutions, which are more complicated and less convenient if you wanna do simple live stuff.

Get a pod HD500x.
