Hello all, Would one of you be able to identify the object this girl is using to deaden the sting noise on the 1st fret?

in the studio i've been using a tea-towel, this just seems more convenient.

Thanks

Yeah gtc83 is right i think. it's a fretwrap.

You can use other things though. A lot of people use a wrist sweatband with the same results. I've seen people tie a bandanna around their nuts as well.....

I saw in a couple of pictures that on Bucketheads Les Paul (only some pictures) that his neck pickup is painted in white. Can anyone explain to me why he would do this, and if there are any pros and cons.

The guy wears a KFC Bucket and a white mask during performances, and you're interested in the color of his pickup covers?

I'd recommend not tying it too tightly

Yeah, it's a Fretwrap. Gruv Gear is the brand.

They are pretty handy for recording. Although, mine mostly just sits behind the nut as a decoration.
