I am in the market for a new amp
Requirements:
Loud enough to gig
Quiet enough for basement(guessing around 20-40watts would be good)
MUST be bluesy and classic rockish
Doesn't need overdrive
Combo preferred
Preferably new
Doesn't need features
Good with a Gibson Les Paul
Good with pedals
Effects loop preferred
Ask away if I missed anything
Thanks in advance

Deluxe Reverb, HRD, AC 30. A Mesa has excellent master vol which is useful for basement rehearsal and comes with sweet Mesa OD at no extra charge. Studio 22, F30, F50.
"Your sound is in your hands as much as anything. It's the way you pick, and the way you hold the guitar, more than it is the amp or the guitar you use." -- Stevie Ray Vaughan

"Anybody can play. The note is only 20 percent. The attitude of the motherfucker who plays it is 80 percent." -- Miles Davis

JTM45 combo. ie a Bluesbreaker. All you need to get a bit of distortion at low volumes is to push the front end with a boost/overdrive. I use mine for quiet practice all the time doing that but once you crank them up to gigging (ie drummer) volumes they cook. Possibly the best blues amp ever made by anybody anywhere. My favourite tones are from a JTM45 (Beano, Gary Moore's studio work)

Vox AC30 (the real ones) are also a good choice.

Liked the ac30 the best out of the selection. But now my question is do I spend an extra $600 for the hand wired version?
