I'm wondering if there's anything I should try out apart from Orange.

Budget: £400-700

Genres:
For metal Electric Wizard, Black Sabbath, Samsara Blues Experiment, Tool, Iron Maiden
But also lots of psychedelic rock (Grateful Dead, Flaming Lips) and fairly clean indie/folk rock.

Would prefer to buy used.

Currently using a Vox DA4 (w/ Big Muff) which I could keep for cleans, but that'd knock £150 off the budget.

Want an FX loop.

Play an SG and a tele.

Cheers!

I'd try a couple of Laney amps. Since you're in the UK, you must have pretty easy access to them for cheap.
Squier "VMC" Stratocaster
PRS SE Singlecut
tc electronic polytune
CMAT MODS Signa Drive
Blakemore Effects Deus Ex Machina
DIY gaussmarkov Dr. Boogey
EHX Small Clone
Mooer ShimVerb
DIY Beavis Devolt
T-REX Fuel Tank Chameleon

Adriana Lima is my immediate thought, followed by Porsche 918 Spider.

Oh. Am I in a guitar forum?

How many people does your bedroom seat?
I like the Pod HD with a set of headphones and/or a set of KRK Rokit 8's. If you really want bottom end, add their 10" sub. It's a freakin' bedroom.
