Facebook popularity? I don't even care enough to know how 'Facebook popular' someone is. That really is dumb. So to get annoyed by it is even dumber.

Okay listen, you guys may not be aware of it since apparently hardly anyone here finds social networks useful but it really does happen.

It's the equivalent of nerds and jocks in high school.

system of a down is terrible and so is this thread

Facebook for me is essentially just an email with my picture, I check it once a day and respond to any messages I have, then leave it till tomorrow
that's it :p

If someone wants to judge my character based on that then or anything else superficial then whatever
It's over simplified, So what!

That assumption is even dumber than the last thing I called dumber.

Actually, this only exist for people who feel incompetent by the literal number of friends they have. Most commonly, 14 year olds.

I'm so confused. What am I judging? Like do I think less of people for going to parties and having friends?

People who don't post every photo they happen to click to facebook, don't feel the urge to hashtag everything and who enter their job as something other than " I'm my own boss!!!".

Regardless, it's what I meant.

Do you find everything people do on facebook, useful and justified? Honest question.

so you don't judge people on their facebook popularity, but you do judge them quite arbitrarily over how many pictures they post, one particular piece of punctuation, and being unemployed

My friend just posted that he likes ramen. I guess that's useful in case I ever want to send him some food.

Another friend posted that he hates pooping. I guess that justified since he has to poop and all.

There is only like 10 people I'm friends with on facebook that I actually pay attention to, so no.

Also go back to listening to Soad. It's a better use of your time then making threads here.

When someone who appears popular and acts like their shit doesn't stink, it makes the malicious glee in me grow when they don't really get more than two-three likes on their statuses.

Apart from that, I don't care, because "Facebook popularity" does also depend on how active they are on Face, which has little to do with their popularity.

Yep, I haven't heard anyone brag about how many online "friends" they have since 8th or 9th grade when all the cool kids went on myspace.
#37
I judge people...but the judgement I give is that somebody who has a stupidly high amount of friends probably has less actual friends than I do.

Then again, I just don't see the point in adding people I don't know. I only even accept invites if I think it's somebody I might have a conversation with in the near future.
