Hey everyone,

Daughter got a Luna (butterfly inlay) guitar for x-mas. Not the best guitar but has sentimental value.

Yesterday she put a strap on without me and some how dropped it and snapped the headstock off the neck completely. It's splintered not a clean break.

Question:
Can it be repaired, should it be repaired, how much would it cost.

Fortunately i bought some insurance on it, so if its more than the cost of the guitar to fix it, then we get cash back

I'm hoping it can't be fixed or cost too much because i just suspect that neck will never be the same.

the answer really is... it depends. take it to a luthier, get a quote. then you can decide what's best.
