So I was using my SM57 the other day and I took the top off. I can't put it back together. Not sure if I broke it, or if I just don't know how to put the top together. Here's a pic. Thanks in advance.

So, it should go back together

Here is a link to some links that should help

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/538074-shure-sm57-plastic-head-screen-grill-piece-loose-how-tighten.html

"You can actually remove the sticker around the windscreen and expose the holes so you can pinch the clip and remove the screen."

So somehow you have to get the wire clip back into its groove having put the bits together in the right order.

Simon is right.

But... I just have to ask, why did you take it apart?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
