Hello everyone,

Last night I tried to update my Zoom G3 to the latest firmware version via the Zoom website. Since doing so, the unit has become completely inoperable. When I try to turn it on, all I get is an error message that reads:

Preset Error!
Model different.

I don't understand what's going on here. I've searched the manual and the Zoom website, but can't find anything about this. I followed the directions to update correctly. I'd really hate it if the unit was now broken from updating. Doesn't make sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried reflashing it? If you can't get the update to install again you'll probably have to contact Zoom for a fix. I've never had good luck with Zoom products.

Turn power off, hold down Store/Swap button & turn power on.

The All Initialize screen should appear.

Press The Store/Swap button again to reset.
