Hello UG, I need your help!

I have a Gibson Les Paul with Steinberger Gearless tuners.

My guitar came with a little note that says "IMPORTANT NOTE: (Plain [G,B, & E] strings must have steel or silk wrapping at the twist, or be soldered, or they will detune during severe bends.)

Can anyone recommend me some good strings that fit the description? It truly does detune fairly easily right now. *Edit: Right now I use Ernie Ball 10's, which have the detuning problem.

Thank you.

It means that it needs some kind of friction to keep those strings from slipping out. The wound ones have it already because of their structure. Since the strings aren't wrapped around the tuner post (as in conventional tuners) , but are instead just clamped, bending can cause them to slip. Gibson sig strings have silk wraps I think...

Right, it needs some extra friction. I'll check out those Gibson strings.
