Why? You've got an RM100, buy some modules.

But anyway. Ampeg VH140C, Crate GX130C, maybe a Randall RG or Warhead or something.

Here are your best choices crate v140, dime.... what ever or and old randall rg, the randall kh isn't bad either ut I wouldn't go over 159 bucks on it. Any reason why you want a solid state amp?

Woah you got an rm... why do you want a ss again?

I'd honestly fap to anything with a set of genitals as long as I find it aesthetically appealing.

Just something to drag around when the weathers
crappy and I don't want to risk my RM's safety etc....
And nasty solid state metal can be fun.

That's what my JCM900 has become. Well, that and a backup amp (which duty is shortly to be replaced by a GT-100.) Mostly, it's my loaner amp. When I donated the use of an amp for a charity event, they got my JCM900, not my RM100.

I know of a few cheap amps at a local shop what would do best? Crate glx1200h, crate c or g600 can't tell letter its old.
The mentioned crate gx130c, or a Randall rx120h.

The GX130C is the same amp as a VH140C (well, apart from the speakers). That the one to go for.

I owned a RG80 for a while. The amp was probably the toughest amp I've ever had. You'd really need to bash it to mess anything up. The amp was good when I had V30s with it, but to be honest, for all the love Dimebag gave that amp I felt like it really needed a lot of effects, boosts, and EQing to sound the way Dime had it. It needed a lot of help just to sound good too. Out of the box the amp was kind of muddy and didn't have much gain or sustain. I preferred my Valvestate 8100.

I'd look at an Ampeg or Crate if I was you.

I have the GX130C, super gnarly amp. Best $60 I've spent.

Ampeg vh140c and Crate gx130 are the amps to hunt for good solid states. If you cant find none old Randall RG100ES is next. Or get the new Randall RG1503h, the channel 2 is basically recreation of RG100ES though it costs a bit more. I've heard a lot of good things of Randall Warheads too. Marshall Valvestate 8100 is the amp to go to for Death tones or if you really want something Marshallish in SS form but it needs a bit of help either from really hot pickups or a boost to take it out of the Thrash zone. But I think the Randalls are better, take this from someone who has both.
