A thread in which we reminisce and talk about our favourite kids' movies, particularly ones that we watched as kids (so no Frozen and whatnot)

Old people are allowed, but we probably won't know what films you are talking about so sorry that you are old.

Hell yea. I used to own it. Such a good soundtrack.

Sandlot is also a masterpiece from my childhood.

We've been goimg off in the chat thread about how Jumanji turns out to be one of the GOAT movies when you watch it as an adult and can pick up on the intricacies of the plot and the genius subtle comedy that Robin Williams executes so well in the film. It's one of the greats.

I loved Pagemaster.

Recess: The Movie holds up really well over the years. Space Jam does not.

I love the live action Jungle Book. Not the Disney animated version, I never felt like it could hold a candle to the live action version.

It was so cool as a kid. I watched it a few years ago, it was still good.

Wait wait wait Jay. What the **** does green mean?

Fievel: an american tail, rescuers down under, All dogs go to heaven, rockadoodle, homeward bound.

These are all ones I remember. Except I never saw Rockadoodle. I knew someone who has said the character Rockadoodle made him first realize he was gay.

Rescuers Down Under was ****ing great. McLeach is by far the best Disney villain ever.

I can't even

I don't remember much about the movie, I can't recall it being any more or less gay than other children movies/musicals.

Also I remember Oliver and company, and the movie cats don't dance. I'm mostly naming ones that I don't hear people talk much about anymore.

There's way too much to mention.

Definitely have to agree with All dogs go to Heaven and We're Back.
Also have to say pretty much every Disney movie (at least the animated ones).

My absolute favourites were probably the Land Before Time movies.

Home Alone 1 + 2, Problem child 1 + 2, Toy Story 1 + 2, Starwars IV, Dennis the menis, Childs Play 2, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory(the only willy wonka movie in existence).

There was this one construction video I loved and watched more than anything. It was one of those cheesy kid school video. Starts off with some kind of mike rowe guy getting hit by this swinging thing, and then he brings you through the entire construction site from digging the foundation to using one of those cranes they build on the buildings.
