Hi, is the Drawer DS201 a good noise gate for guitars? I only hear that they are awesome for drums. And is the ISP decimator better ?

I think the ISP decimator isn't a noise gate, but a "noise suppressor", which is supposed to be working at all times and reduce the overall noise floor.

That noise gate in particular will work just fine for guitars, yeah.
Thing is, most pedals aren't great compared even to the pretty low end "pro audio" stuff, and unless you're going for a particularly clean, hella natural sound (read: you play jazz) pretty much any effects processor will do, really.
Name's Luca.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.
