Terrible first non Sam post that.

My 2 predictions are that Hearts will win the double of the Championship & the prestigious PETROFAC Training Cup.

Also new thread can't wait for Sam to be bombarded with messages about being in the first post.

Although I will say it's the SPFL Premiership & Championship

It's the Scottish version of the Johnstones Paint so the one all the non-Premiership teams in the league system play for.

I am actually picking up my tickets for the game against Annan (in said cup on the 26th) today

So much prestige.

Everyone underestimating us again

James said he's happy at Monaco but his dream is to one day play for Madrid.

I think if Di Maria does leave (looking likely ) along with Khedira (also looking more likely ), Real will get James this window. Probably for stupid money.

Along with Kroos

Not so much underestimating, more that as of now your additions havent been as good as the other teams'. This is why I put "stupidly early predictions" It'll probably be completely different come mid-August

Posting to subscribe to thread Will do any predictions closer to the start of season.

Oh, and I'm going to add myself in as a supporter of FC Koln, as I have played with them the most on FIFA 14 and feel strangely attached. They might not be in the same league as Bayern, Dortmund and Leverkusen, but still... finding game highlights might be tricky, however
Hey, look. Sigs are back.

That reminds me, I'm gonna actually pay attention to Leverkusen this season

Hey man, I've been to Koeln... three times! And, I've even been to their stadium! I might not have known anything about them at the time, but still...

Also, I didn't realise but they're actually in the top Bundesliga next season, not the B league, and their stadium is bigger than Villa Park. I'm probably going to follow these as much as Villa this year, given that we're still the club nobody wants to buy

Hey Trowzaa, I found out something interesting about Koln that you might like

Quote by Bundesliga article

The Geißböcke were the first ever winners of the Bundesliga in 1963/64, and went on to reach the quarter-finals of the European Cup the following season, where they were knocked out by a toss of a coin after drawing three consecutive games with English champions Liverpool FC. Köln have only won the Bundesliga once since then - in the 1977/78 season - but they have won the DFB Cup on four occasions (in 1968/69, 1977/78, 1978/79 and 1983/1984).

I don't think any of us will punish you for giving your opinion on why the site is dying a bit, considering we've had threads on it before and not banned the TS

Also, you laugh but I should have started liking Koln sooner. Podolski was one of their players (twice), and left to Arsenal when Koln got relegated, and that crazy keeper (Schumacher) who came flying out and knocked out that French guy in the '82 WC was the Koln keeper.

Oh, and I thought they were cool because they have a goat in their logo (from playing as them on FIFA, I mean, rather than just discovering this) but they actually have a real goat as their mascot at every game Hennes VIII (yep, seriously lol) is present at every game

And the best thing, it said on that article with the goat stuff that he'll be one of two 'real' mascots in the Bundesliga next season... apparently Eintracht Frankfurt have a fucking EAGLE for a mascot... called Atilla
