Hey guys,
Recently, I play more and more song by Eric Clapton. I have a Blackstar ID15 TVP and I would like to know which valve simulation i should chose to get a tone as similar as possible.

I have the choice between 6L6, 6V6, KT66, KT88, EL34, EL84. Which one would you chose ?

Depends - clapton had fairly different tones in different periods.

What sound are you after exactly?
What year, what band, what song... ?

For his solo stuff you can refer to this, in conjunction with 6L6s - https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=688660

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

I guess spambots are now capable of reading minds.

My thoughts exactly. Which Clapton tone? They're pretty radically different.

Sorry, my first question was really inaccurate

A brief research led me to believe he was using a '57 Fender Tweed Twin, so 6L6s.

The settings in the post I linked should be just about right, though you may wanna experiment with them as you likely don't have the same gear he has, so the tone controls respond differently ecc...

Ok thanks. On this amp, the 6L6 simulation is my favourite concerning Blues ^^
