HI

I am pretty sure this is the most accurate to the original version on the internet. Unfortunately there is no video or slideshow but I prefer that in this case because it puts more focus on the music.

There is more info in the YT description if you are interested.

That is outstanding! From the tones onwards, it is amazing!

Beautiful, soulful playing!

What's your setup - how are you getting that tone?

You are what they call a “rhythm guitarist”. While it's not as glamorous as playing lead you can still get laid. Especially if you can sing and play.

I used my Line 6 TonePort UX2 with POD Farm amp plugin which includes distortion pedal and delay. I also used a reverb in Cubase and my physical CryBaby wah-pedal for the wah parts. It's not the best or most expensive gear in the world but I remember I spent A LOT of time fine-tuning the tone after I recorded it.

Oh and of course the guitar I used is the Jem 555 pictured.

Very accurate to the original dude!

Nice tone and playing!

You did great job on this cover - almost impossible to distinguish between yours and the source!

(Although some places vibrato was missing - take for example 4:59-5:01)

Nice, great job imitating, but to do an original version would be way better IMO, sure you can come up with something interesting

Damn, I gotta re-record the whole thing now! Ha ha, just kidding. Well noticed though, and thanks, I really appreciate the compliments

Thanks I will definitely do a more improvised version at some point and put my own style into it.
