inspired by a short discussion i had with blake a while back. chose three bands to rip off (optionally specify an album or group of albums to rip off) for your new music venture. name the band and name your debut album

1. knapsack (everything)
2. the misfits (static age mostly)
3. glassjaw (coloring book EP)

band name: Subderivative
debut album: Throwing Out For Safety's Sake

let's go
i don't know why i feel so dry

1. Carissa's Wierd (all they're albums are the same greatness, so it doesn't really matter)
2. Iron & Wine (Creek Drank The Cradle album, easily his best)
3. My Bloody Valentine (Loveless)

name: Somnambulant
debut album: A Few Inches Above The Ground

pls don't steal my ideas, thx.

edit: Maybe swap out Iron & Wine for Isis' Oceanic album.

I remember when I was listening to CW's "Piano Song" they said a line "when you go away, heaven's a distance not a place" and I was thinking it sounded familiar, and then I realised it was a line from Sam's "Two Hungry Blackbirds", and that's how I made the connection. I wish they had done stuff together and released it. It would've been amazing!
