I know you guys probably get these a lot so I'll try get to the point as quick as I can. I got this list off another post i seen so ill follow it.

Budget? - £400-500 but this could change if necessary.

Genres? - Primarily metal and rock. I listen to a wide range of things i couldn't list them all but ill list a few. (Megadeth, Disturbed, Machine Head, Slipknot, Bullet for my valentine, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, Steel panther etc) I could go on but I think that should give a general idea.

New or Used? - I would happily go with either.

Home or Gig? - I don't gig. I also don't have neighbours anywhere near me, I'm surrounded by fields so loudness isn't a problem. I like to play along with mp3s this is very important. Need to be able to play it at high and low volumes.

Closest City? - Im in N.Ireland.

Current Gear? - I currently have an LTD EC331 and a horrible cheap amp.

Other info - Im not really desperate to rush into anything incase maybe a little more money would make a huge difference. I've only been playing for around a year and a half now so not very experienced.

If you need any other info let me know, thanks!

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

I guess spambots are now capable of reading minds.

I'll second that POD & speakers idea.

Sets you up nicely for jamming and gigging too, should it crop up in the future.
