Hi guys,

i'm getting amplitube for my ipad, plus some extensions.
my question is if it is possible to get a good metal tone (think gojira, lamb of god) from either the orange extension (i'm thinking the thunderverb 200) or the standard amps in amplitube, and if not, should i go for jamup pro or ampkit pro for the metal tones?

amplitube is my choice for modeling software.

However i haven't tried the ipad version.

the Metal amp is based on a mesa triple rectifier so should be able to get you a damn heavy tone.

you might have to fork out for either the orange or the soldano models if you dont like the mesa tone.

try it, see what you think and then go for the soldano if you want good metal tones

I think the metal pack isn't released on de ipad/ipod version yet, so for the metal tones i'm thinking one of the orange amps. Even without the metal amp i'm buying it, ho is your experience with the fender pack and the hendrix pack?

i dont have the hendrix pack but i do have the fender.

its really good but then again i just got it for the 65 twin reverb so i havent used it much.

honestly if your computer can handle it, go for the full version. its worth every penny
