Ok I am in a worship band and I understand the delays and .8th which is being used in this song, but at 2:15 the guitarist plays a solo and it sounds airy and sustaining. How is he doing this? What effect pedal gives that sound. Please watch the video or at least the solo that starts at 2:15....

There shall be a stop to this madness. The battle is not over. My tasty licks aren't going anywhere.

^ I've just realised if you say Simple Plan's 2011 effort "Get Your Heart On!" really fast in a Southern American accent, it sounds gross. . .like sexual gross!

There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

I was mocking you

I hit 'em and they stay down

debatable to which one is worse, but yeah, I agree with the sentiment.

Could be a small amount of overdrive.
it's all just coming back
it's all coming back

it's all coming back to me

probably compression and better technique than you

Def not compression, because that makes all the notes sound the same and that solo clearly had dynamics.

Haha.. Good one there

Most likely something like a boost pedal or a compression (since most of them also has a sustain feature on them).

did you know that some pedals allow you to use different levels and mix the effected signal with the original signal?

Sounds like some overdrive with a bit of like Hall reverb.
