which delay timing do you use to get a slight trailing sound during a slower solo? A quater note, eight note, .8th note?? Which mode is your favorite? (Eg tape)

Digital Delay, about 415 ms, feedback at about 2 o' clock, mix around 50%, 1/8th note.

I'm cool with analog delay, too.

I definitely agree with you there.

I like digital delay because of its clarity, I guess.

Either way, it's pretty 50/50 for me.

I've been thinking about investing in a tape delay but, that's really low on my list of guitar rig purchase-priorities.

no

I do have to say, it'd be pretty cool to hear that with the delay mix on 100% and feedback really low just to hear what someone could come up with.

tape delay is generally more expensive than digital delay.

For soloing I tend to have the feedback at max, and just sweep the entire range of the the time knob. Set mix to taste. it doesn't need to be precise quarter notes or any of that nonsense.

I use enough delay to hear that it's delay.

I mostly prefer to delay my soloing until there's noone around to hear me **** it up.

Damn it, I was going to make a similar joke.

I guess I delayed my post too much.

Still got it

i like to put on three delays and a reverb and dime everything and then fit a low e chord and then after that do divebombs and feedback over it and it sounds like the end of the world
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

I do the same but I tune down to drop A.really low so my dive bombs are below the audible range, which is where br00t4l happens.
