So I bought an Ibanez SR1400 premium from a dude and it has no strap buttons or screws. I went to guitar center and just bought some generic ones but those screws were too thick and I didn't want to make bigger holes. Does Ibanez sell the stock ones that were in the bass anywhere? Or is there somewhere I can look for thinner ones?
For how can I give the King his place of worth above all else
when I spend my time striving to place the crown upon myself?

In order to fit strap buttons again, ideally you're going to have to fill the existing holes and redrill. Making slightly larger holes won't make an iota of difference to anything.

EDIT: Actually, a larger screw is better, because at the moment you have a guide in the form of the previous screw holes.

This is a bass I would really prefer not to mess up on accident. Would it be better to just take it to a shop for them to do it?

If you can't put in some simple screws, please take it to someone else.
