Hey guys,

I just finished up a whole album of my solo project, 'Sound Horse'. It's instrumental progressive rock and metal with lots of silly guitar solos. I tried putting in some slow ambient atmospheric bits too. I'd love it if you could check it out, even if its just the first track or so:

And here's the first album I made a couple of years ago (not as good):

I'm using youtube uploads because soundcloud has the tracks out of order. You can download these tracks for free from my soundcloud though:

I'd be happy to give details on any of the equipment I used if anyone's interested.
I had a blast making it and I just really want to spread it around and reach as many ears as possible.
Thanks a lot

Come on, you could have spent a little more with your artwork budget right?

Haha, in all seriousness, you're playing is stupid good, those solos rip. Also, I'm sure you've heard this before, but you need to either teach yourself a little more about production or get someone to do it for you, because this should sound like a real band (and yeah, you can do that without it sounding all hi-fi and proggy. I actually like the more mellowed out metal tones here but the mix is still a little weak.) That being said, I'd be surprised if you couldn't find anyone who wanted to work on it with you because it's really great and your playing should attract a lot of people. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words man, I'm definitely going to try and improve my production and mixing skills, I guess I'll look around online for tutorials and stuff. My current equipment is pretty limited but ideally I'd like to get a good guitar sound without resorting to something super expensive like an Axe Fx
