If you could have any 5 guitars what would they be... Acoustic, electric, bass, 7 string whatever
ES-335, any Vigier, Ibanez Artfield, National Resonator style O, strat and Les Paul... and a 12 string.

I can't count.
Strandberg Boden 7 (custom), Custom Silverburst Iceman 7 string, Ibanez Artist 2663 (HH), MotorAve Bell Aire (Cherry Red with metal pickguard), Mayones Regius 7 Gothic.

I think I win for most expensive collection.

No clue. I'm at around 50 guitars at the moment.

That said, I've been using a Variax JTV 89F a LOT lately -- it's a virtual guitar collection in and of itself. I've also got a Variax 700 Acoustic, which has another collection of acoustic guitars built in, and I'm looking for a Variax 705 bass, which covers a lot of bass territory.

Some see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty. Me? I see that the glass is refillable.
'60's Silvertone parlor guitar with "steel reinforced neck" and painted on fret markers.
'65 Fender Mustang
Rosewood Tele
The spiffiest Goldtop LP with p90s that I could find.
Gibson ES339

As a wildcard I'll add the Schecter Ultra III, I've wanted one of those for awhile.
Fender Mustang/Derfenstein DST> Boss Power Wah> Pedal Monsters Klone> Bogner Uberschall> Walrus Audio Janus> Randall RM20> Line 6 M9> Randall RM20
I'm assuming you mean besides what we already have as opposed to a situation in which we can only have five guitars.

Vintage 1960s MIA Stratocaster
PRS S2 Mira w/ Bird Inlays
Gibson ES-335 Semi-Hollow
Martin 000-28EC (Eric Clapton Signature)
(placeholder... not sure yet)
Gretsch White Penguin , 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, 1954 Gibson LP Wraptail GT, 1957 Fender Stratocaster, 1950 Fender Broadcaster would work for me!
This came up somewhere else recently.

1) My Bourgeois MS sig

2) My Beltona tricone (seen in my avatar)

3) A Collings CJ35 or similar for fingerpicking, or better yet, a vintage Gibson J45 if I could find a good one.

4) A (Dana) Bourgeois Blues, ladder braced, all mahogany.

5) A Warmoth bitsa, chambered alder body painted black, unversal pickup rout, plain black pickguard, birdseye/birdseye Pro neck, hardtail strat tailpiece, 2xP90. I could also be happy with an LP Special (2xP90) in babyshit sunburst, similar to the one I now have, but much lighter in weight.

All except #2 would be open-tuned and could be used as lap steels with a conversion capo
Well a strat for 1. (my lite ash Strat will do fine. )

A nice guitar with P90's not really decided on that one a Reverand or something.

A humbucker guitar Maybe something cool like a Korina Exploerer.

Small body acoustic Martin or Gibson my Gibson L-130 is fine but it needs some work maybe a Martin Steve Howe model 0018

A jazz box of some sot like a full featured Ibanez Pat Metheny model or an ES 175

Still would want a Gretsch a Tele and a nylon string

i'd take 5...

1959 les paul standards and flog them one at a time.
1 Jackson Kelly KEXTMG: Beautiful looking guitar. Sounds amazing, looks exotic and was made famous by Marty Friedman.

2 Jackson SLATTMGX3-6: Blue is my favorite color and I've always wanted a guitar that matched that. It's the perfect shade too.

3 Dean Rust In Peace Flying V: When I look at guitars usually I try to make my own style. I don't get guitars just to be like my favorite players. I'll make an exception for this. My favorite album of all time's cover is painted on it. Dave Mustaine plays this everytime when they do Holy Wars live.

4 Dean Dime From Hell: Coolest guitar shape I've ever seen. I'd need to give it a custom paint job in order to fit my style but the shape is a monster. Surprisingly comfortable.

5 Cordoba 55FCE Classical: Most beautiful guitar I've every played. It sounded exquisite. Comfortable to hold, easy to reach the end frets.
Gibson SG (specifically the one I own)
Gibson Les Paul '52 Goldtop
Gibson 335
Rickenbacker 12 string
Mayones Regius 7 w/ fanned frets
