"Tornado of Souls"-ish?

Obviously, a poor man's version. I'm no Marty Friedman, that's for sure. That's plainly obvious and I won't even pretend to be a great lead player, honestly. But I have been working hard and improving a little bit.

I was working on this solo I'm building for a new song, and the similarity struck me suddenly. It seems pretty close. Hopefully not too close? The rest of the song in general does not resemble Tornado of Souls, but it's kind of an "homage" if you will in that part.

Love it dude. It's very mellow, reminds me of middle-era Satriani or Eric Johnson a little. Leaning towards Satriani.

Very nice work. We could probably do something cool together with such different styles...

Here's something else I did, that's completely different. I've been mostly doing film score type stuff lately. This is my newest baby from that project. No guitars to be found here, all synth/ambient stuff. Lots of weird influences here.

Wow thank you, that's not a bad compliment
And I'm sure we could!

I really dig that synth/ambient track! The complete vibe-change at 2:09 is great, especially after that creepy diminished intro! Great work!

Thanks man, that's my most recent full song. It needs some tighteNing up in a couple small parts but I think it's the most ambitious thing I've done yet.
