I used to really look up to Jason Mraz for being able to bust quick rhymes while playing all sorts of rhythms on his acoustic guitar. However, he figured out he can make more money writing cheesy love songs, so I don't love him anymore.

And what the hell happened to Jack Johnson?

Sir, the contents of my mouth just blew all over my keyboard, desk, and part of my monitor. For the record, it was slightly chewed Keebler cookies and coffee slurry.

Seriously? Dave Matthews?

At least change that to Damien Rice...

I wont tolerate any anti-Dave rhetoric.

I like a lot of their music too, but I wouldn't consider him a good or even considerable acoustic guitarist

Just a guy who uses an acoustic guitar occasionally/somewhat regularly

Kurt Cobain.
Some see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty. Me? I see that the glass is refillable.

Great to see some John Butler love.

Others I love:

Ben Howard
Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst
Elliot Smith
Mark Kozelek/Sun Kil Moon
David Gray's White Ladder album (haven't actually heard anything else from him so yeah )

Honestly, acoustic does not interest me in the way electric does. But I think Chris Cornell's unplugged solo shit is surprisingly awesome, even though it is just chords:

As for epic skillz, I love Bumblefoot (there's some crazy shred in this song):

Bumblefoot has a great voice too. Hope he leaves GN'R soon.
