How many of you use string cleaners on your guitar strings? Do they work and are they worth it?
#2
I use GHS Fast fret.

I mostly use it when im recording just to brighten the strings up a little.
They are quite useful as they can help with playability.

I use the Fender string cleaner because it covers all the strings and it’s cheap. Just buy one a year and throw out the old one. The contents of all string cleaners is usually just mineral oil and fragrance, so the applicator is all that matters.
#4
I was thinking about getting the Dunlop 65 String Cleaner. I am satisfied with their polish and lemon oil so I kind of wanna try their string cleaner also. I usually replace my strings around once a month, if I use the string cleaner, will they make the strings last longer?
#5
I was also looking at the GHS String cleaner. Which one is better the GHS string cleaner or the Dunlop 65 string cleaner?
#6
I just wipe my strings with a dry cloth. I don't see how a string cleaner can be really effective.
#7
GHS Fast Fret, Best string cleaner that I tried so far.
