I while ago I picked up what I thought was a Seymour Duncan Jazz neck pickup for $1, I just now looked at the back of the back of the pickup to find it was an Epiphone HB6n, does anyone have anything to say about it? Is it worth putting in a guitar? Is it just a pickup that comes in any cheap Epiphone axe? Thanks.

Why did you think it was a SD SH2n?

put it in and se for yourself. I'm not big on Epi bridge pickups, but the neck pickups can be decent

It came in the Seymour Duncan SH-2n box.

I have some Epi G400 pickups in SD SH-4 boxes. That is where you put the old pickup when you install the SD

I'm guessing you bought it at a yardsale or similar. and the last epi pickup I bought was $9 + $5 shipping used and I think it was well worth that even (it was a LP standard/DOT neck pickup)
