Hey guys,

Do you know any guitar player(s) that have a similar (fuzz) sound like Eric Johnson?
Some time ago I came across a young guy - I think he was also from Texas - but I can't remember his name...

Thanks for your help!

I was trying to think of an anagram, but all I could think of was Jeric Ohnson.
This has not been a good day.

So Stevie Ray Vaughan uses a fuzz ;-)

He did indeed! As well as his famous stacked tube screamers, he used a Fuzz Face, and Octavia at times, hell, probably anything that Hendrix used!

I would also like to add Rocky Mountain Tim, since he was Toni Loomi's biggest musical influence and (somewhat reluctant) mentor, and the influence certainly shows.

The guy I am specifically looking for plays a stratocaster is in his twenties and has a fuzz sound that sounds very much like Eric Johnson.
Anybody has a sensible suggestion?
