Hey Guys,

I've seen a lot of advice that one should try to record the amount of time spent practicing the guitar - does anyone have any recommendations as to iPhone apps or other utilities (besides pen and paper) to keep track of time spent?

Thanks!

A chronometer and an excel like spreadsheet.
Google spreadsheets for example.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

Chronometer? Should come on any cheap watch...or just a watch?

that's what i was gonna say

but yeah i mean aside from a little notebook i'm guessing just a spreadsheet or something like that in e.g. ms word/office (or that free office suite, i forget the name ) would work.

you can get little countdown timers too that i see some instructional books recommend... never bothered getting one.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Why? Just play as often as you can. Just keep the guitar handy and pick it up all the time. I don't even plug my guitar in half the time. I just pick it up and play. If your fingers aren't hurting too much you should have it in your hands. What is this timing it bs? Just play and play and play.
