This thread's basically gonna become a joke but I'd say The Godfather, Pan's Labyrinth, and The Godfather Pt. 2 in that order.

I'm gonna go with my favorite movie that is not usually on any "greatest movies of all time lists".

Shutter Island.

Usual Suspects

Nacho Libre is safely on my top 5 worst films I've ever paid to watch
dirtbag ballet by the bins down the alley
as i walk through the chalet of the shadow of death
everything that you've come to expect

Mulholland Drive

Everytime I watch that movie I'm trashed and fall asleep half way through.

One of these days I'll get through it.

The Master, Jurassic Park, Short Term 12, Pan's Labyrinth, Jaws, District 9, Persona, The Raid, In The Loop, I really can't pick just one.

I've got Portra in my camera in my bag right now. If I wasn't at work I'd take a photo.

Depends what mood I'm in.

Sometimes you can just put on any Danny Kaye movie or whatever and I'm set, though White Christmas will always stick out.
At other times it would be some kind of fantasy of sci-fi movie. (I love fantasy stuff that's more aimed at kids, like Bridge to Terabithia.)

I can't forget What Dreams May Come. It had some flaws I think, but it easily overcame those flaws, which in my book is what can really make a great movie.

Also, I love Buried. You don't have to be attracted to men to 95 minutes of watching Ryan Reynolds.

In general, any movie that at some point will make me bawl my eyes out will suffice.

Yes.

I think that sums up your post.

But seriously, I acknowledge that she's great in other ways as well.

Fight Club

Donnie Darko

The Prestige

City of God

American Beauty

Requiem For A Dream

Filth

Probably some more I'm not thinking of right now.

Why am I not surprised that Fight Club is philip_pepper's favourite film?

That was my first thought
