Hello UG.

I'm getting a new bass in a few days, but my bass amp (GK Backline 115) decided that this is the time to get sound issues:
When playing, the sound will sort of simmer out at times, sometimes disappearing completely, never playing at the full volume.

I recently moved into a dorm complex, so I suspect it might be power issues, with the amp simply not receiving enough power from the outlets, though as a rookie gearperson I could very possibly be wrong.

If anyone has any sort of knowledge as how to fix this, please help
I will gladly answer additional questions.

You might get better answers in the bass forum (though some of the more electronics-orientated types in here might be able to help, too).
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
