One of my favourite films is '10 Rillington Place'. There wasn't that much violence portrayed on screen but the way that Attenborough played the psychopathic serial killer John Christie was chilling. One of the great generation of screen stars who were picked for their acting skills rather than good looks as is todays Hollywood.

Well I'm possibly being a bit sentimental as Attenborough has just died but 10 Rillington Place is one of my favourites as the whole John Christie and Tim Evans case fascinates me.

I got confused for a second was worried it was his brother, the awesome documentary guy, and was sad.

Thread jokes aside ( ) , I do remember this guy only from Jurassic Park.

Sad nonetheless, R.I.P

For some reason I now imagine his son having a conversation with a BBC correspondent about the implications this had for lunch.

Still sad though.

In spite of knowing that he is very old, that still sounds like a confession.

Brighton Rock, 10 Rillington Place, The Great Escape etc. He had a fantastic career and a long life. He was also life president of Chelsea FC. R.I.P.
